Why watch this film?

Movie also known by the title 'Jason and the Golden Fleece', this work by Don Chaffey (from the classic series 'The Avengers') has aged like the best wines. After all, although it was already a landmark movie for the 1960s, 'Jason and the Argonauts' has gained even more relevance over the years. Not only for its epic narrative, about the hero Jason and a team of adventurers, nor for the good performance of Todd Armstrong (from 'American Superhero). But mainly because of Ray Harryhausen's top-notch work on special effects and stop-motion. It is a movie that, alongside '2001: A Space Odyssey', helped to build the foundations of current cinema and to understand what is called "big screen".
