Wayne's World

Two friends create a cable show, but struggle to get it noticed.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

Based on a sketch from the late 80s 'Saturday Night Live' show, 'Wayne's World' is one of the most clever and popular comedies released in the early 90s, launching the movie career of comedian Mike Myers ('Austin Powers'). This is a movie that satirizes rock fans, but also pokes fun at the corporate culture that prevails in big television networks, while celebrating the spirit of independent creativity. The film is full of memorable lines and scenes (the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in the car went down in history), and with eccentric characters at their peak performed by Dana Carvey, Rob Lowe, Tia Carrere and Lara Flynn Boyle.
