Why watch this film?
Have you ever imagined Danny DeVito ('Dumbo') and Arnold Schwarzenegger ('The Terminator') as brothers? Despite the lack of physical resemblance, filmmaker Ivan Reitman ('Ghostbusters') brought this duo to the big screen in the funny movie 'Twins'. From this physical joke, the feature film expands the notion of differences also for attitudes, gestures and ways of dealing with life. A comedy with the face of the 1980s, full of excesses and some absurdities. But in the end, it entertains with its unpretentious tone and the good (and unexpected!) performances of Schwarzenegger and DeVito, who don't take themselves seriously at any moment and know how to build their characters lightly.

The success of the legendary first installment of 'Ghostbusters' was always going to be hard to beat, but if there was a way to try without completely failing, it was bringing back the same team on- and off-screen. 'Ghostbusters II' brings back director Ivan Reitman with the entire original cast and a script co-written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis that, no, is not as funny as the first one, but at least manages to put the protagonists in tight spots and present original ideas. Here we see the Ghostbusters again up against the ropes, having lost their reputation after saving New York. However, they must get back into action when Dana (Sigourney Weaver) calls for their help after experiencing a new paranormal occurrence.

The production is practically a dream team of comedy: directed by Ivan Reitman ('Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot'), with screenplay by Dan Aykroyd ('The Blues Brothers') and Harold Ramis ('Groundhog Day'). The cast also has, in addition to Aykroyd and Ramis, Bill Murray ('The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'), Rick Moranis ('Honey, I Shrunk The Kids') and Sigourney Weaver ('Alien'). I don't think you need any more reasons to watch, do you?
