Why watch this film?

Winner of the Chilean National Literature Prize, the country's highest literary award, Raúl Zurita is considered one of the most relevant poets of the South American region and who suffered firsthand the brutality of Pinochet's dictatorship. Through the memories of his experiences and his work, 'Zurita, Verás no Ver' is the type of documentary that raises deep questions about the nature of art, its intimate relationship with pain and suffering, life and death, as well as the ideal of its eventual disappearance. Because "the great human dream is that one day poems will not be necessary, because the causes that make poems necessary will no longer exist. And that will be the great human poem". Deep ideas, conveyed through beautiful images and the account of an extraordinary life.
