If you're looking for a suspense, this might not be the most recommended movie. But if you want something different, that even flirts with the genre and still has a touch of humor, you've come to the right place. 'Come to Daddy' has a funny and strange name, which summarizes the film well, bringing a daring plot that is clearly not taken seriously. In the production, a musician goes to visit his father whom he hasn't seen in over 30 years and ends up discovering surprising facts about him. The script may be a bit eccentric, but it's also intriguing and unpredictable. Elijah Wood, who plays the protagonist, delivers a great performance, as does Michael Smiley, who gives life to the father of the story, who manages to be both frightening and funny. Smiley's performance is reminiscent of Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining'. It is worth mentioning that 'Come to Daddy' is a tense, violent and liberating movie - in certain points. The production addresses delicate issues with a certain maturity, even if it is a comedy with acid humor.
