Why watch this film?
"Joker: Put on A Happy Face" recounts the origins of the Clown Prince of Crime, the influences that came from other media (like the movie "The Man Who Laughs") and the zeitgeist of the 1930s to form this unique character. With interviews with people like Stan Lee, Tim Burton, Mark Hamill, Adam West, Christian Bale and many others, we get to know all the interpretations of the Joker - be it from comics, TV, video games and cinema. The narration is by Kevin Conroy, the greatest voice of Batman in animations and games. Released as part of the celebrations of the Joker's 80th anniversary, the documentary (about 35 minutes long) is available for free on iTunes/Apple TV. As the Joker portrayed by Jack Nicholson would say: "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?". After all, it's time to face this waltz...
