Why watch this film?

Movies about summer romances and passions abound in the cinema. The most emblematic case is 'Call Me By Your Name', about the passion of a young man for his father's pupil. However, we can say that one of the most overwhelming is the sensual 'Breathe In'. Directed by Drake Doremus (of the excellent 'Like Crazy'), the feature film tells the story of a man's (Guy Pearce) relationship with a foreign student (Felicity Jones) who arrives in his town. Showing the destructive power of this relationship, Doremus provokes and instigates the viewer to reflect on the limits of relationships and their impacts on an already weakened family. Highlight for the performance of Jones ('Rogue One'), who gives herself with passion to the role and ends up becoming essential for the strength of the film.
