If you are familiar with the documentary 'The Secret' (and the homonymous book by Rhonda Byrne), which discusses the philosophy of New Thought, which in turn argues about the power of positive thinking can bring us closer to our desires, you will like this production. The movie 'The Secret: Dare to Dream' uses this premise in a dramatic adaptation. Despite the protagonists, Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas, delivering their characters with solid performances, the plot of the production ends up being predictable and more concerned with proving the philosophies present in the book, than creating an intriguing feature film.

Plot summary
