Why watch this film?
It is common for movies and documentaries to imagine and reimagine the existence of aliens and other creatures in the void of space. 'The Phenomenon: We Are Not Alone' follows the same path. This documentary, directed by filmmaker and ufologist James Fox and narrated by Peter Coyote (actor from 'Patch Adams'), examines the paths of ufology and, once again, shows accounts of people who have seen flying saucers in the sky. The difference here, and what makes this film so tasty for the ufology community, is the compelling testimonies of former high-ranking NASA officials and even astronauts. The sensation, in the end, is the same as the subtitle of the film in Portuguese: we are not alone.

Documentaries about the climate crisis are never too many, but sometimes it can be challenging to find one that presents its arguments in a different and memorable way. Earth Protectors is a worthy attempt. Directed by French artist and environmental activist Anne de Carbuccia, it artistically documents her 10-year journey around the world exploring the impact of climate change in various countries, as well as the solutions undertaken to empower global citizens and address the crisis. At times, de Carbuccia and her works take more prominence than necessary, but she manages to present vital information.
