Gods of Egypt

Rival gods fight for control of the universe, with a mortal's help.

Why watch this film?

The movie sparked controversy even before its release, for featuring white actors in the main roles of a story set entirely in Egypt. As if that wasn't enough, 'Gods of Egypt' was not well received by critics who compared it to an unfortunate mix of 'Percy Jackson' and 'Clash of the Titans'. Despite having an excellent cast, composed of Gerard Butler, Brenton Thwaites, Chadwick Boseman and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the production failed to convince due to its weak script and editing of the story. Even so, it is worth noting that 'Gods of Egypt' may please fans of Egyptian mythology and B movies.
