Why watch this film?

In line with 'England is Mine', 'Alvaro: Rockstars Don't Wet the Bed' is the second documentary by Jorge Catoni, filmmaker, visual artist and designer who was interested in Alvaro Peña through his visual proposal before the music and the same DIY spirit of the artist. The maxim is: "if you want to know him, read his lyrics." The documentary is structured around these compositions, and all the themes have supporting songs. Alvaro Peña is the underground of the underground, and this documentary rescues the exhaustive and controversial work of the Buenos Aires musician, who at 76 years old and almost 60 years of experience continues to edit records independently. Crazy and irreverent, the documentary is as unique a portrait as the character it portrays.
