Why watch this film?

"Whoever thinks that the story of Winnie the Pooh (formerly known as Winnie Puff) originated in a conventional movie is mistaken. The first adaptation to the big screen of A. A. Milne's stories was this simple 1977 production. Here, we follow Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit and their friends in three animated shorts. They are not grand or even memorable. However, the delicacy with which the directing duo John Lounsbery and Wolfgang Reitherman treat the story, with special attention to the very small ones, leaves anyone moved by the true friendship between those animals and, of course, Christopher Robin. A pleasant movie to watch while traveling in your world of fantasies.
