Why watch this film?

The South Korean movie 'Train to Busan' was one of the biggest surprises in theaters in 2016, largely due to the intense way an zombie apocalypse was treated. The producers obviously got excited about the buzz of the movie and, four years later, come out with the sequel 'Train to Busan 2: Peninsula'. Although it was one of the 56 selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2020, which did not take place due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the film is not a shadow of what the original production was. The action sequences are less visceral, the plot is more obvious and there is no sense of urgency as good as the first movie. However, it is still an honest production, which brings some good moments, which may please those looking for a conventional zombie movie.
