Why watch this film?
After the good reception of 'Wonder Woman', actress Gal Gadot returns to the role of the Amazon warrior once again with filmmaker Patty Jenkins at the helm of the feature film. This time, without Zack Snyder behind the entire DC Comics superhero franchise in theaters, the movie is a bit cleaner - without all that videogame aura - and the adventure tone takes up even more space. There is a bit of sameness in the issue of the villain to be faced and the movie does not go beyond its proposals, reaffirming how DC continues to be somewhat lost in its project in the movies. But those who liked the first 'Wonder Woman' movie will undoubtedly have fun and embark on this new proposal, which only shows how Gal Gadot's character remains the only possible interpreter for the heroine.

Based on the HQs originally created by psychologist William Moulton Marston, the movie tells the origin of Wonder Woman, a princess of a race of warriors called Amazons, who live isolated from the rest of the world. After contact with a man, this woman - Diana - decides to go to the "world of men" to stop the plans of an evil god during World War I. Thus arises a story that at the same time embraces the feminist origins of the character and also the classic concepts of heroes. The charisma that Gal Gadot lends to the protagonist is also one of the successes of the production.

Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order
