Why watch this film?
It's hard to start talking about a movie that has a cast made up of Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Keegan-Michael Key, Kerry Washington and James Corden. In addition to having a very beautiful message, 'The Prom' is a grand cinematic conclusion of 2020, being exaggerated, silly, authentic and incredible. Once again, we are faced with more proof that Meryl Streep is the best actress who has ever stepped into this world and shows all her nuances as the character Dee Dee Allen, a Broadway legend. In addition, the movie brings an LGBT romance, something that is still not common in cinema and this is a worthy trait of director Ryan Murphy, who always seeks to bring inclusion in his productions.

Directed by Ryan Murphy ("Eat Pray Love") and adapted from Augusten Burroughs' memoir of the same name, "Running with Scissors" is, on one hand, an eccentric portrait of a turbulent time in the United States. On the other, it deals with themes related to mental illness, though sometimes dangerously lightly. It is saved by its all-star cast, led by the great Annette Bening ("American Beauty") alongside Alec Baldwin, Brian Cox, Evan Rachel Wood, and Gwyneth Paltrow, to name a few.
Eat Pray Love
Based on Elizabeth Gilbert's namesake memoir, 'Eat Pray Love' has a solid cast with Julia Roberts, Viola Davis, Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup, as well as simply gorgeous locations that will surely make you want to visit. Moreover, it must be said, it is a somewhat superfluous and idealized romantic comedy (is it really possible to leave everything overnight and go around the world like that?). But that is precisely its great strength, if what you want is to dream a little.
