Why watch this film?

Stories about World War II seem to be increasingly saturated, especially after masterpieces like 'Saving Private Ryan', 'Schindler's List' or 'The Choice of Sofia'. 'Flukten over grensen', by Johanne Helgeland, adds another stone to past productions in this historical period. After all, the feature film returns to tell the story of Jews fleeing and hiding from German soldiers - a story that has already been told many times, under different prisms, from 'The Pianist' to 'Anna's War'. The difference here ends up being in the good cast direction, with a focus on Jewish children, which only moves us by the brutal humanity that arises from the natural bond we create with the characters. Otherwise, a movie that seems to have already been seen around here ...
