Why watch this film?

Who doesn't love time loop movies? Plots like 'Groundhog Day', 'Palm Springs' and 'Happy Death Day' have helped set the tone for this type of cinema, which usually mixes good humor and unusual situations. In 'The Map of Tiny Perfect Things', it's no different. The duo Kathryn Newton ('Freak') and Kyle Allen ('West Side Story') surprise and entertain as two teenagers stuck in a single day. Filmmaker Ian Samuels' ('Sierra Burgess is a Loser') insights prevent the film from falling into a dull rut of things we've seen before - although some situations make the audience feel like they're in a time loop themselves. But, of course, good fun.
