In the plot, we follow the story of a corrupt legal guardian who drains the economies of her elderly wards by placing them under her care in a nursing home. But she finds her true rival when a woman she tries to scam turns out to be smarter than she looks at first glance - and with dangerous connections that may end up bringing down her scheme. Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, and Dianne Wiest steal the show with moments that range in genre but manage to keep the quality of the film as a whole.

As a disaster movie, 'The 5th Wave' has an interesting premise on paper: the progressive reduction of humanity to its minimum expression, first without technology, then without protection against the environment and diseases, until it can no longer trust itself. It starts off interestingly with the progression of disasters, creating tension and atmosphere, even if it later falls into the clichés of teenage drama. Without many compromises, it's a disaster movie that delivers the expected, and an essential for Chlöe Grace Moretz fans.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is the unlikely sequel to the feature film that placed the characters of this playful and childlike universe into a world of violence and horror. However, don't expect a production as weak as the previous film: with the success of the first installment at the box office, the production had more money to invest, and thus Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 manages to be more realistic, violent, and impressive compared to the first film. The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
