This movie was made for cinephiles, with great references to silent cinema and beautiful cinematography. Expressionist compositions, close-ups in the most retro style possible, impeccable costume design and good performances, 'Stump the Guesser' is a great short film. For a few minutes, we forget that we are watching a production from the 21st century and not from the 1930s.

Plot summary
He works at the fairground as "Stump the Guesser", who can guess anything for a fee. But suddenly his tricks stop working. And then he unwittingly falls in love with his sister whom he believed to be lost. He sets out to scientifically disprove the theory of heredity and marry his beloved as soon as possible. An absurdist firework of a silent film in black and white.
