Why watch this film?

Interesting portrait of anxiety, showing that these issues are much deeper than a single moment, one disappointment, one fear. Débora Falabella, who perfectly fits the role of the writer who fears the death of everything and everyone around her, leads this story with interesting modulations of humor, transitioning between highs and lows that convince the viewer. All of this with a modern aesthetic of Brazilian cinema, reminiscent of productions like 'Benzinho' and 'The Best Things in the World'. In addition to Falabella, another highlight for the firm direction of filmmaker Júlia Rezende, who, like in 'Ponte Aérea' and 'How Cruel to Live Like This', knew how to take a complicated theme and turn it into an interesting story that should leave the audience immersed in the journey of the character. Obviously, there are some simplifications that bother within the character's "healing" journey. But that's okay. What matters here, without a doubt, is the emotion of this story and the sensitivity of the portrait. And that's worth it.
