Why watch this film?
Typically, blockbusters that tackle wars tend to have a more positive view of the conflicts, investing more in explosions and action scenes than in a good script. However, 'War Stories' goes the opposite way, trying to have a more realistic look at the stories that happened in Afghanistan. It even uses real war scenes of Canadian troops in that country. To show that, in a conflict, there are more than two sides.

Plot summary
Inspired by true events, Hyena Road is a modern-day war epic set the heart Taliban territory in Afghanistan. When expert sniper, Ryan Sanders and his crack-shot team are forced to take shelter in a nearby village, they come face-to-face with The Ghost, a legendary Afghan freedom fighter who’s been forced into seclusion by the Taliban. When intelligence officer, Pete Mitchell learns of their chance encounter, he enlists Sanders’ team to track down The Ghost in hope of creating an unlikely and powerful ally.
