"The Lord of the Rings" is one of the great classics of English literature, written by J.R.R. Tolkien. It took Hollywood a while to give the world its vision of the work, but when it did so, it was done in grand style. Directed by Peter Jackson, the film has an all-star cast (including Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Ian Holm, Viggo Mortensen, Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen...) and incredible special effects created by Weta. A universal story that has its spirit present in the feature-length version.

Plot summary
In the first part of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic masterpiece, 'The Lord of the Rings', a shy young hobbit named Frodo Baggins inherits a simple gold ring. He knows the ring has power, but not that he alone holds the secret to the survival -- or enslavement -- of the entire world. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The middle chapter of the iconic trilogy of The Lord of the Rings, by Peter Jackson, is perhaps the least acclaimed of the three, but it is no less spectacular. The story of The Two Towers resumes right where The Fellowship of the Ring left off: Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) separate from the group to venture towards Mordor, while Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) pursue Saruman's (Christopher Lee) forces towards Rohan. Due to its middle position in the trilogy, the structure of The Two Towers may feel uneven and even inconclusive, but it couldn't be any other way. The movie wonderfully adapts Tolkien's narration, with spectacular sequences like the Battle of Helm's Deep, and introducing crucial and unforgettable characters like Gollum (Andy Serkis).
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Simply, one of the most spectacular epic fantasy films ever made in the history of cinema, and the conclusion of the first great cinematic classic of the 21st century. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) closes Peter Jackson's ambitious trilogy with a massive production, both in ambition and duration. The story continues where The Two Towers left off, with Frodo (Elijah Wood) suffering to take the One Ring to its destruction on Mount Doom, while his friends prepare to defend the kingdom of Gondor in the decisive battle against Sauron and the evil of Mordor. By its nature, the story seems to lack a beginning, entering directly into a very long development for a spectacular finale. However, it is one of the most wonderful stories put on screen, one that should be seen at least once in life.

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver
It was said about the first installment, and it can be said about Netflix's Rebel Moon (Part Two): it is a movie that only Zack Snyder fans will enjoy. The film continues to be a copy of the classic 'Seven Samurai', but in space: our heroes, led by Kora (Sofia Boutella), return to their small agricultural moon to prepare the defense against the invaders from the Empire. The story unfolds in a predictable manner (even more so if you've seen Kurosawa's classic), with Snyder's usual stylistic vices: overuse of slow motion and gratuitous Christian symbolism. If you liked the previous one (or the director's other movies), you will undoubtedly enjoy it. Otherwise, it might be better to skip it.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
The MonsterVerse has successfully brought to the screen the battles of the two most iconic giant monsters in cinema, King Kong and Godzilla, the latter in its American reinterpretation. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a new chapter in the franchise, although, truth be told, it doesn't bring much new. The duo are now allies in a fight for the fate not only of the Earth's surface but also of the world of the "hollow earth," where the titans come from. Don't expect here the deep anti-war allegory of Godzilla Minus One, the far superior Japanese film released just a few months prior. Here it's about seeing giant monsters smack each other in the face, like an hour of wrestlers aboard monster trucks. If that's what you're looking for, it's the movie for you. If you prefer some more humanity in your films, it's better to pass.
Code 8: Part II
Code 8 was an unexpectedly successful film, putting Robbie (from the series Upload) and Stephen Amell (Arrow) back on the map and captivating audiences with a compelling science fiction story. Now, the saga returns with an intense plot: after witnessing her brother's murder and the subsequent cover-up, a teenage girl with abnormal abilities seeks the help of an ex-convict (Robbie Amell) and his former crime partner (Stephen Amell). Together, they confront a unit of corrupt police officers who use advanced robotic technology to avoid being exposed. A clever and entertaining sequel.
