Why watch this film?

Produced with care by the BBC and excellent performances, the movie depicts the lives of three of the most important women in English and world literature, the Brontës - who were, in their time, forced to publish under male pseudonyms. Thus, we are able to better understand their isolation and the context that led them to produce classics such as 'Jane Eyre' and 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall'. A great movie for literature lovers or period drama fans.
