Trailer

Why watch this film?

A powerful biography of Stefan Zweig, one of the world's most famous writers in his time and who, as a Jew, had to flee from the Germans after the rise of Nazism. The film portrays this period of exile in America, culminating with Zweig falling in love with a great country to the south of the same continent: ours. In 1941, the writer would coin the phrase "Brazil, country of the future". Yet the growth of barbarism and intolerance did not allow him to find peace.
