In his very first feature film, director and screenwriter Aneesh Chaganty surprises us. It all starts when a 16 year-old girl disappears and her father, David (played by John Cho from the new Star Trek), decides to hack into his daughter's computer to look for clues - and he discovers that she has many secrets. With great performances and a well-crafted script, the movie brings a mystery that captivates us, as well as knowing how to use elements of the current world to guide our view, such as text messages and video calls. It is certainly an exciting and quite original story that takes advantage of the modern world like few others.

Do you know that batch of suspense movies between the 1990s and 2000s, which didn't require much from the viewer and brought an exciting plot? Movies like 'The Glass House' or 'Panic Room' left their mark on the imagination of many people, even though they were full of simplicity in the story. Now, this exclusive Netflix movie in Brazil brings back that pleasant suspense tone to dive into, without commitment. In 'Run', we follow the story of a mother (Sarah Paulson) who takes care of her wheelchair-bound daughter (Kiera Allen, spectacular in the movie). However, with touches of 'The Act', we see how their relationship is not what we thought it was. Without a doubt, a good suspense to watch as a pastime at the end of any day, with good moments in the performances and in the direction of Aneesh Chaganty, who had already surprised us with the excellent 'Searching...'.

Disappear Completely (Desaparecer por completo) a horror thriller by Luis Javier Henaine (Ready to Mingle), joins that select and distinguished canon. The plot revolves around Santiago (Harold Torres), the best crime scene photographer in Mexico City, who has gradually become desensitized to all the violence he has witnessed. One day, after infiltrating a mysterious crime scene, he begins to lose, one by one and without logical explanation, his five senses. A powerful metaphor about how both the media and we as individuals relate to the everyday violence that surrounds us.
