Why watch this film?

Based on the book of the same name ('To Kill a Mockingbird' in English), the movie delivers a great performance by Greg Peck as a lawyer who is split between raising his children and working as a lawyer, for which he finds himself defending an innocent black man in a highly racist society. A social drama, which reveals that all of us (even with our weaknesses and mistakes) can fight for what is right. The movie was a success with critics and audiences at its time, winning several awards.
