Directed and starring Brie Larson (from the success of 'Captain Marvel' and Oscar winner for 'Room'), 'The Unicorn Store' is a beautiful portrait of life for those who lost their childhood dreams in the sea of adult obligations. Larson's lens is saturated with pastel colors everywhere, appropriate for a fairytale atmosphere - on the other hand, the honey is offset by the serious tone of the protagonist's existential crisis. The actress makes an extravagant debut as a director, and we can say, a bit cheesy, but her effort ends up being truly genuine and fun. Also, if you enjoyed her chemistry with Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel superhero movie, here you can see them together again.
