Why watch this film?
Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, Captain America is one of the most iconic Marvel characters, having been created in comics during World War II. This adaptation for the cinema, led by director Joe Johnston (of 'Rocketeer'), remains faithful to the principles of the hero, in addition to paving the way for the Marvel Universe and, later, the introduction of the Avengers. Chris Evans, after the criticism he received as the Human Torch of 'Fantastic Four', fits perfectly in the role, in addition to the great performance by Hugo Weaving as Red Skull. In the end, we have a feature film that combines origin story with war movie in a competent way, in a solid entertainment.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
Despite a talented cast, including Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and young promise Mackenzie Foy, 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms' is among the weakest Disney narratives in recent years (and unfortunately, with very little dance for a story based on the famous ballet 'The Nutcracker' by Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky). However, on the other hand there is an impressive production design and spectacular special effects, making the movie worth it for the visuals (which really enchant).

After all, at this point in the "dinosaur island" story, the park is already completely abandoned and without prospects. The plot then shows a couple returning to the island to rescue a son who was there, trapped and alone. William H. Macy and Téa Leoni steal the scene, while the moment of the pterodactyl attacks entered into popular imagination.
The Rocketeer
Long before the superhero movie craze, director Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger) adapted the comic book character created by Dave Stevens to the big screen. Set in 1938, it tells the story of a pilot, Cliff, who steals a jetpack to battle Nazis attacking Los Angeles. It was inspired by the pulps -- inexpensive publications that entertained audiences with simple yet thrilling stories, a vibe that's very much alive in the film. This gives it an intentional B-movie feel, which makes everything even more interesting.
