Why watch this film?
It's always difficult to accept the remake of a successful movie that has already achieved its place in pop culture and collective memory. However, big producers are insatiable and remakes tend to be a more guaranteed commercial success. That's how the Mexican version of 'My Best Friend's Wedding' collected both good and bad reactions from critics and the public. The film does not explore new possibilities in its story, being practically a "copy and paste" of the original. It's worth it if you like these tropicalized versions and look for a light romantic comedy.

Love, Divided
From hate to love, there's only one step. Or, in this case, a very thin wall. Love, Divided (a remake of the French film Behind the Wall) is about a game designer (Fernando Guallar) who can only concentrate in absolute silence, which becomes a problem when a singer and pianist (Aitana) who is preparing for an important audition, moves into the adjacent apartment. It's a predictable romantic comedy, and the outcome can be seen from miles away. However, if you enjoy this kind of story, Patricia Font's remake is still charming.
