Why watch this film?
Although it's not an official ending, 'Dark Phoenix' probably closes the X-Men movie franchise as it was conceived in 2000, and ends the saga started with 'X-Men: First Class'. It's also the second attempt to adapt the iconic homonymous comic book story and, like in the case of 'X-Men 3', fails in many ways. However, it's worth watching for its spectacular special effects or for its star-studded cast (even though most of them are on autopilot), including names like James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Jessica Chastain, Sophie Turner (Sansa from 'Game of Thrones') and Alexandra Shipp ('Love, Simon').

The 355
A cast featuring Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger and Bingbing Fan already shows that 'The 355' is worth the recommendation. This is a spy movie with a focus on women - following the wave of 'Salt', 'Atomic' and 'Black Widow'. The coolest thing is to see a feature film with 100% female power, something that is still rare in cinema. The dynamics of the actresses is good and the movie ends up being worth it - because, unfortunately, the story of 'The 355' is more of the same, something seen several times in 'Mission: Impossible' and other productions of the genre. In addition, there is a lack of sagacity in the plot, the twists are tiring and few are intelligent. Anyway, in addition to the already mentioned performances, another cool fact about the movie is the title: the codename 355 was of an American spy who was part of the Culper Ring, a group of agents led by George Washington during the American Revolution.

Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
