A sound engineer is hired to work in the studio that processes and enhances the audio of the most sordid horror films - and now he must mix the sound of the last feature film of a master of horror. From there, he begins a dive into the most chilling side of Italian cinema, in a true tribute orchestrated by director Peter Strickland ('The Duke of Burgundy'). Special mention for the great performance of Toby Jones, the villain Dr. Arnim Zola from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recommended for horror and suspense fans, or for those who are passionate about the backstage of the seventh art and sound engineering.

A comedy horror unlike any other, 'In Fabric' is one of those provocative and inventive films that make us think, "Where did they come up with this idea?" Here, director and screenwriter Peter Strickland (of 'Katalin Varga') tells the story of a cursed dress. That's right. And just like Annabelle leaves a trail of chaos in her wake, this piece of clothing also leaves its mark on the lives of those who wear it. There are no big moments here, it seems that the best of the movie stayed in the premise. However, Strickland's breath of creativity, as well as the daringness of the proposal, help make the film cause an interesting mix of fear, laughter and apprehension. It's worth the adventure.
Cold Meridian
'Cold Meridian' initially delivers a promising short film about a rehearsal for a performance, shot at the Budapest Dance Academy in a grainy black and white Super-8 film. Peter Strickland has prepared an experience with this production, which manages to prod our brains with its sound effects. 'Cold Meridian' can be considered an experimental artistic performance, as the idea is precisely to play with the viewer's voyeurism - it's even worth watching this movie with headphones. Without further ado, just surrender to this production, it's only six minutes and they are precious.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is the unlikely sequel to the feature film that placed the characters of this playful and childlike universe into a world of violence and horror. However, don't expect a production as weak as the previous film: with the success of the first installment at the box office, the production had more money to invest, and thus Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 manages to be more realistic, violent, and impressive compared to the first film. The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
