Trailer

Why watch this film?

Years of drought exacerbated by global warming have left forests tragically dry, which means only one thing: the creation of the perfect fuel to start a catastrophe. Americans saw the Northern California town burn in 2018, when videos of terrified residents fleeing their lives started appearing on social media. 'Fire in Paradise' is an accounting of the damage, through the voices of the survivors and an invitation to raise awareness about new environmental protection regulations. This forty-minute documentary presents images of the flames that can be disturbing, so it is not recommended for the most sensitive audience. It should be noted that the short is a strong candidate to receive an Oscar nomination after winning the Audience Award at the Hamptons Festival.
