Why watch this film?
"Playing with Fire" is a simple movie, with lots of cheesy comedy and more than a generous dose of scatological humor for the kids, who will no doubt love it. The cast is full of charismatic familiar faces, with John Cena ("The Marine") consolidating his comedic vein, accompanied by Keegan-Michael Key ("Toy Story 4"), John Leguizamo ("John Wick 2: A New Day to Die"), Brianna Hildebrand ("Deadpool 2") and Judy Greer ("Ant-Man"). By critics, this was "elected" as one of the worst movies of 2019. It's really hard to defend the production - but it will certainly find its audience among those who want an unpretentious laugh and empty their heads of the day's problems, or for children from ten years old.

Following in the footsteps of 'Tudo Bem no Natal que Vem' with Leandro Hassum, the teen comedy 'Christmas Again?' talks about a 12 year old girl stuck in Christmas parties. Even without the sharp and typical Brazilian humor (like the Pavê joke and so on), this Disney+ exclusive production delivers a cute and light tone for Christmas stories. Scarlett Estevez from 'Pai em Dose Dupla' hits the right tone and, despite having a slightly delayed comedic timing, manages to make everything even lighter and more welcoming. A movie to watch with family while eating panettone at the end of the year.
One True Loves
Emma (Phillipa Soo) is living her life the best way possible: traveling, being free and with a seemingly perfect marriage to Jesse (Luke Bracey). However, everything changes when her husband suffers a helicopter crash and disappears in the middle of the ocean. That's when, after a long period of mourning, Emma decides to get back to living: takes over her family's bookstore, leaves Jesse in the past and starts a romance with Sam (Simu Liu), an old schoolmate. Everything great then? Not at all: Jesse returns years later and leaves the protagonist without ground. This convoluted story, which puts Emma's love to the test, is the central plot of 'One True Loves'. Adapted from Taylor Jenkins Reid's novel, 'Daisy Jones', the feature film is the typical romantic triangle movie, where one's heart is absolutely divided. Interestingly, the movie has no defined villain: you can root for either one, leaving room for joys and disappointments.
