Why watch this film?
For good ears, tuning is paramount for a tranquil life. In 'The Sound of Silence', Peter Sarsgaard ('The Price of Truth') is a man who takes this to the extreme: he is a "home tuner", bringing harmony to those who live in them - until he finds a house that he can't seem to fix. An intriguing concept, which yields an intellectual and refined film, taking much from the performances of the actors on screen. Short (it's only 87 minutes), it's one of those movies to relax peacefully while watching.
