The Wolf Hour

A woman in the Bronx is tormented by an unseen harasser during the Summer of Sam.

Why watch this film?

Set in the midst of New York City's blackout of 1977, shortly after the wave of crimes by the infamous serial killer "Son of Sam" (David Berkowitz), 'The Wolf Hour' is a thriller from the past with a feeling still applicable to the 21st century, as it is completely understandable to want to escape from the bombardment of news that constantly remind us of the world chaos. The feature, which was selected at the Sundance Film Festival, will certainly remind you of David Fincher's 'Panic Room', though it does not have such a rounded script. However, something worth noting is the great Naomi Watts' performance, very convincing to show us the psychological deterioration of a terrified protagonist.
