Why watch this film?
"Baby Mamas" is a South African dramedy directed by Stephina Zwane about the difficulties of being a single (or divorced) mother, while also dealing with job responsibilities and finding a new partner. Although the script is a bit cheesy at times, the respective storylines of the four women illustrate complicated situations that one can relate to, from getting a positive pregnancy test result, to taking care of a child, confronting infidelity or fear of falling in love again and failing. It is not a movie that will change the course of romantic comedies, but it is nice to see the maternal experience reproduced in a context different from ours, yet so similar.

And in trying to recapture his best years, Mike could lose the best things that ever happened to him.
