Why watch this film?

After making an intimate drama and a comedy, French director François Ozon opted to make a film that moves between thriller, drama, and black comedy. 'In the House' has a brilliant script in which reality and fiction cross until their borders are erased, and in the process they unravel the dark truths that seemingly perfect families can hide. It also features performances by giants of French cinema such as Kristin Scott Thomas, Fabrice Luchini, and Denis Ménochet. Winner of two awards at the San Sebastian Film Festival, nominated for a Goya Award and six César Awards.
