Countdown

A nurse downloads an app that predicts her death in 3 days, and must find a way to save herself.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

Directed by first-time feature filmmaker Justin Dec and starring Elizabeth Lail (the heroine of the first season of 'You'), the horror movie 'Countdown' doesn't aim to reinvent the genre as some modern classic. Nor even to be a horror to go down in history. In fact, the objectives here are quite clear: to give some good scares, surprise with several "jumpscares" and entertain the audience. To do this, the film follows in the footsteps of recent - and very fun! - productions such as 'Instant Death' and 'Selfie to Hell', which make technology the villain of these new and strange times. There is a trashy, B-movie feel that may put off some people who think it's a movie that doesn't deserve their time or attention. But know this: with a bucket of popcorn, a cup of soda and good company, the fun is guaranteed.
