Two women in love since 1947 overcome prejudice and societal taboos.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

Produced by Jason Blum (of films like 'Get Out' and 'Whiplash') and Ryan Murphy ('American Horror Story' and 'Pose'), the documentary 'A Secret Love' has nothing to do with the main productions of the duo. Far from horror, the film tells the story of a love between two women, in a relationship since 1947, who decide to challenge taboos and break down prejudices that persist to this day, more than 70 years later. Just like the fiction 'Loving: A Love Story', there is a concern to show the power and connection between the two protagonists of the documentary, without letting these negative aspects -- still evident -- take over. In other words: it is a movie for those who want to dive into a beautiful love story and, as a bonus, reflect on the injustices in society that endure to this day.
