Why watch this film?

Drinking from the fountain of 'The Da Vinci Code' and the recent Spanish thriller 'The Legacy of Bones', the Polish feature film 'Plagi Breslau' is a movie with a conventional narrative but with a differentiated approach. After all, even though it goes back to the theme of crimes from the past being committed in the present, director Patryk Vega ('Pitbull') follows tortuous paths to bring this message to the audience. Violence, for example, is explicit, with bodies being torn apart and skulls opened. The protagonist, played by a transformed Malgorzata Kozuchowska, is cold, distant and little empathetic. Thus, the viewer's interest in the film ends up being conditioned to the resolution of the mystery in an inhospitable environment. For those who this is enough, it will be a good entertainment. But those who seek more intricate plots will be disappointed.
