Why watch this film?
In recent years, the Australian journalism program Four Corners has become known for bringing to light important and necessary issues to debate and better understand people's daily lives and lifestyles. This premise is taken to the medium-length documentary 'Not a Boy, Not a Girl', a production of Four Corners. Directed by Janine Cohen, the film follows the journey and challenges of an Australian young person who does not identify as either male or female. Thus, throughout just over 40 minutes, Cohen seeks to better understand the feelings and experiences that formed this person, as well as to debate and understand important LGBTQ+ movements that extend around the world. It is a short documentary, but of a necessary power for today's days and that should please those who want to better understand this new sexuality.
