Why watch this film?

Nothing of 'Snow White', 'Cinderella' or 'Aladdin'. Perhaps the movie that moves the emotion of generations, even decades after its release, is 'The Lion King'. With a stunning African setting and a soundtrack that has been imprinted in people's minds and hearts, the feature film hits the mark with some daring decisions (the death, right at the beginning, is a milestone for any child), delicious characters and a story that follows the journey of a small lion that could be any of us facing the painful adversities of life. It is thus a refined, powerful, showy production. But above all, it is a beautiful tale about family, self-discovery and testing limits.
