Two friends switch bodies and comically struggle to avoid destroying each other's lives.

Why watch this film?

This is a comedy with a familiar theme: the body swap of the characters. Still, don't think it will be like the other movies that bring this premise. 'The Change-Up' also shows both sides of an adult's maturity, showing the characters played by Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. Reynolds is a womanizer, while Bateman is married and has a family. Deep down, one wishes to have the other's life, which suggests a reflection: is the grass always greener on the other side? The script may not be the most polished, but still, the movie fulfills its purpose of entertaining the viewer.

But Dave (Bateman) thinks Mitch's stress-free life without obligation or consequence is the real dream come true. The next morning they wake up, hungover, in each other’s bodies, and proceed to freak out! With time not on their side, Mitch and Dave comically struggle to avoid completely destroying each other's lives before they can find a way to get their old ones back.
