Why watch this film?

"Freedom Is a Big Word" is a delicate and powerful documentary by Guillermo Rocamora (of "Vigília") that looks at many documentaries out there about prisons and the loss of freedom. But most of them focus on judicial systems, flaws in the process, and the like. Few have the sensitivity of "Freedom Is a Big Word," which tells, in detail and independently, the story of Muhammad, a Palestinian who spent more than a decade in Guantanamo. Now free, he must learn how to live in society again, leave old fears behind, and face this expected and frightening freedom that he now holds. Special mention goes to Rocamora's humanistic direction, which knows how to tell this story, leaving nonsense aside and focusing on the human being. Irreproachable.
