Why watch this film?

After 'Invasion Zombie' it became clear that South Koreans know how to make a good zombie movie and in a more humanized way - '#Saraitda' is another example of this. With the original production seal from Netflix, the feature film was released in Asian cinemas and worldwide distribution was handled by streaming. The movie shows what it would be like to live in the current world with a deadly virus that turns people into zombies and explores the use of social networks and other technological devices in the fight for survival. This approach is quite different from other feature films of this genre, where there are rarely functioning cell phones and internet. In 'Invasion Zombie' we see something similar, since we also gradually follow the evolution of the virus and little by little, communications are interrupted. Already in '#Saraitda', at no time does the internet cease to exist and ends up being a great ally of those who were not infected during the story. It is difficult not to watch the production without making a parallel with the situation faced in the world, in 2020 we lived a pandemic and it is interesting to analyze the daily life of the protagonist of the film - who is isolated from everyone in his apartment to not die. Of course, we don't face zombies in real life, but leaving home without need has become a risk, as the coronavirus is a deadly disease that decimated much of the global population. '#Saraitda' is well done, has an intriguing plot and sensitive performances, which show the more human side of people in difficult situations, this is one of those productions that does not make you lose hope in life.
