It's almost unbelievable that a documentary about this topic has only been released in 2020. 'The Social Dilemma' offers a thin line between opening users' eyes to social media and a punch in the stomach, since almost everyone is connected - all the time. If before social media made us rethink our appearance and left us feeling unsatisfied with life, now the talk is even more serious, as they are also responsible for the perception we have of the world and can even change our behavior. The movie makes you reflect on the habits we have in the digital life, if in times of "fake news" we have doubts about everything, this feeling is even more potentiated with the documentary. The production has a relevant and necessary political side, taking into account Donald Trump's election campaign and also Jair Bolsonaro's. It is worth warning that 'The Social Dilemma' is not recommended to watch if you are having a bad day, the movie will make you question everything and everyone, it will leave you confused and even afraid of technological devices.

Directed by French artist and environmental activist Anne de Carbuccia, it artistically documents her 10-year journey around the world exploring the impact of climate change in various countries, as well as the solutions undertaken to empower global citizens and address the crisis. At times, de Carbuccia and her works take more prominence than necessary, but she manages to present vital information.
