Why watch this film?

You can say that 'eHero' is a 'Number One Player' without the dystopia and an 'Ender's Game' without the sense of urgency. After all, filmmaker Joseph Procopio, established in the short film market, takes advantage of a neon aesthetic and the video game environment to tell the story of a group of professional players who must defeat an unbeatable competitor. It is a modern and current movie that finally directs the story on the big screen to the promising e-commerce market, already so consolidated, but with little representation in cinemas. The highlight in the cast, formed by some promising young people, is the veteran Sean Astin (from the 'Lord of the Rings' franchise), who manages to give vigor, urgency and attention to the story. A sports drama, with a science fiction feel, that should please.
