From Chilean filmmaker Cristián Mamani (cinematographer of the film 'Sex Stories' and director of the series 'Solita Camino'), 'No Basta con Amar' is a movie that subverts the representation of a family separation as is typical in Hollywood dramatic tradition: children tragically caught in the middle of a dispute à la 'Kramer vs. Kramer' or 'Marriage Story'. Here, however, the couple's son is also an actor in the deep contemplation of marital life, and his perspective awakens serious questions in his parents. Therefore, it is a much more sober and enlightening portrait of a relationship in agony, avoiding melodrama.
