Why watch this film?

Fruit of the partnership between Adam Sandler and Netflix, which yielded titles such as 'Here Come the Parents' and 'Zerando a Vida', 'Hubie Halloween' is yet another comedy from Adam Sandler. And when I say "yet another comedy", it's for the extremely similar style that the actor has delivered to the audience on other occasions: lots of jokes involving farts and vomit, plenty of silliness, and a somewhat predictable plot. However, if the humor of other classic Sandler films worked on other occasions, here the laughter should also roll freely. After all, the star plays a totally off-the-curve role of a boy with some mental disability who tries to consolidate himself as a neighborhood monitor where he lives. However, instead of betting on a plot of only developing this character, director Steven Brill (from 'Sandy Wexler') ends up inserting an unusual and strange investigation plot about who is committing crimes in the region. It doesn't work very well. But the star-studded cast (with Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, June Squibb and Ben Stiller) ends up serving as a good appetizer to keep watching the movie. Not to mention a bizarre and unusual scene with Shaquille O'Neal, which should make many people laugh out loud. To laugh and have fun without much commitment.
