Why watch this film?
Polish terror will please fans of low-budget 1980s slasher films. With questionable visual effects and an overly obvious plot, the feature follows a group of young people in search of a connection to nature that ends up becoming victims of a serial killer. The best thing is that the movie doesn't take itself too seriously, which makes it all the more interesting in this setting. One of the characters even questions if the story isn't too cliche. 'W lesie dzis nie zasnie nikt' has an interesting soundtrack, some of the actors look like they came straight out of the classic 'The Goonies'. The production is recommended for passing the time, especially if you're the kind of audience who watches everything with their cell phone in hand - in this case, it's important to put the movie dubbed if you're not fluent in Polish.

Plot summary
A group of technology-dependent teenagers goes to - offline camp. Common hiking in the woods without access to smartphones will not end, however, as planned by the organizers. They will have to fight for real life with something that they have not seen even in the darkest corners of the Internet. In the face of deadly danger lurking in the woods, they will discover what true friendship, love and sacrifice are.

"No One Will Sleep in the Woods Tonight 2" is the continuation of the Polish slasher that attracted many people on Netflix, becoming a hit on the platform. The new movie follows the story from where the previous one ended, with the only survivor of the massacre trying to explain her story to the police and ends up in a prison cell. Thus, the agents return to the site to find out more details of what happened and end up discovering that the killers are still there. The film seeks to be a refreshing breath in the genre, changing already established rules and bringing new nuances to the survivor character presented in the previous feature film. For horror fans who still don't know the franchise and are looking for innovation, or at least something that breaks away from the Hollywood standard, this is the right choice.

"Hellhole" is a gripping thriller directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski that takes place in 1987 Poland. The story follows a police officer who investigates a series of mysterious disappearances and ends up infiltrating a remote monastery. What he discovers about the clergy is dark and disturbing, and the film keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.Kowalski's direction is masterful, creating a tense and eerie atmosphere that perfectly complements the story. The cinematography is also excellent, with stunning shots of the Polish countryside and the monastery itself.The cast is top-notch, with standout performances from the lead actor and the supporting cast. Abigail demonstrates why we should keep an eye on the director duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, especially when they have original material at their disposal (they also directed Scream 5 and 6, with mixed results). Abigail is a film that manages to balance the terror and tragedy of its characters with the absurdity of its premise, thanks to a clever script that plays with the conventions of vampire literature, careful direction, and a phenomenal cast (led by Mexican actress Melissa Barrera and Dan Stevens) that fully utilizes their roles. The plot follows a group of kidnappers tasked with a delicate job: to kidnap a millionaire's daughter for ransom. However, it all turns out to be a trap: beneath the guise of a 12-year-old girl, the victim is actually an ancient vampire who likes to play with her food. Like Ready or Not in its time, this film is self-aware, pushing its story and violence to the most absurd and fun limits without falling into self-parody. It won’t change the history of horror cinema, but it’s an excellent (and even stylish for a film of its genre, I dare say) choice for a fun time at the movies with friends.

The plot follows a woman (Carla Hernández) who, upon waking up from a prolonged coma, is confronted by a stranger (Álex Crusa) who seems to know everything about her: everything she has written on WhatsApp and Facebook, all the videos she has sent to her contacts, all the humiliating information she has said in private. From this moment on, NUDUS seems more concerned with the mystery of its characters than with the greater background of their situation, so it becomes more about the exploitation of its female protagonist than a reflection on technology and data privacy. However, despite the plot going off the rails, the situation lends itself to exemplifying a catastrophic scenario of these breaches in privacy.
